Opinion Statement of OPNRR (CENTRE)

1. Superior merciful Lord Buddha preached that :

(A) Between on the way of Jetavana and sarwitti region, not to persecute and torture sentient being while the children were beating a snake, it can not be pleased as every sentient being wants delightful bliss.(Ku-1, 89-Danda Sutta)

(B) This is mischief by killing and offering bovines, goats and sheep in sacrifice. This misdeed is abstained by noble-minded people. It gives much refinement and benefit by offering in sacrifice unless persecution and torture the sentient being. Such a sort of offering in sacrifice is honoured by noble-minded people.(Sam-1,76-Yana Sutta)

(C) The noble-minded person never persecutes and kills others.(Di-2, 42-so on)

(D) Whichever any sentient beings must not be killed.(Those Pitaka Pali)

2. Not only Buddha but also other gods do not want to persecute and kill other.

3.In the world we are living, there are enormous sentient being inhabitants including human and must be kept compassion and give help each other. It should not be required and should not be had at all that one creature persecutes and kills on other one.

4. There have criminal acts in many country including Myanmar not only the human being, but for the animals are not to be persecuted and be killed. There also have preventive societies which is animal rights to prevent them.

5. We are grateful and indebted to bovines because they always struggle arduously by their body for the people’s food provisions.

Therefore we declare our opinion statement of persecution and killing to those bovines are not granted by the Organization for the Protection of National Race and Religion Centre (OPNRR-Centre) in any reasons and this case is to be carried out necessary precaution by the officials prudently.
